Kathy has been providing legal assistance for over 40 years. Kathy is the legal assistant to Paul Jensen and primarily works in the areas of Real Estate, Arbitration and Mediation, Civil Litigation, Guardianship, and Estate Planning to name a few. She has three children and five grandchildren. When not working, Kathy enjoys motorcycling, spending time at the lake, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Holly Tappe grew up in Roseau, Minnesota, graduated from Roseau High School in 2003 and St. Cloud State University in 2007. Holly joined the law firm in July 2013. Holly is the paralegal to J.J. Cline focusing in the following areas: Family Law, Personal Injury, Municipal Law, Township Law, Drainage and Water, Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law. Holly is married to Shane Tappe. They have 3 boys and 1 girl, Colbe, Cooper, Camrik and Corlynn. Holly enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events, traveling for wrestling, swimming and fishing.
Laura Bolstad joined the law firm in July 2015 with 5 years’ experience. Laura is the paralegal to Paul Jensen focusing in the following areas: Commercial Law, Business Law, Agricultural Law, Real Estate Law, Probate, Debtor and Creditor Law, Litigation, and Wills and Trusts. Laura and her husband Dan enjoy spending time with family, being at the lake, traveling, hunting, fishing.
Erika Garza is a legal assistant in our firm. Erika graduated from Alexandria Technical College in May of 2017 with her Legal Administrative Assistant Degree. Erika grew up in Fergus Falls, MN. Erika assists J.J. Cline focusing in the following areas: Family Law, Personal Injury, Township Law, Drainage and Water, Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law. Erika has one daughter, Avay. Erika enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and the outdoors.
Karissa joined the law firm in July 2017. Karissa is a legal assistant to J.J. Cline, focusing in the following areas: Family Law, Personal Injury, Township Law, Drainage and Water, Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation and Criminal Law. Karissa is married to Brian Yates. They reside in Perham, MN and together have two children, Kiara and Cash. Karissa enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
Heidi Sampson grew up in Wheaton, Minnesota and joined the firm in 2017. Heidi is a paralegal to Paul Jensen focusing in the areas of Estate Planning and Corporations. Heidi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a paralegal emphasis in 2008. Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for walks, reading, going out on the boat, bonfires, and baking. Heidi and her husband, Ryan, have one son, Decker and a yellow lab, Avery.
Kris Joined the firm in 2017. Kris is married to her husband Troy of 22 years. They have 3 children Sydney, Sophia and Jared. Kris has spent the last 18 years raising her children, running her own business and was a fitness instructor at the YMCA. Kris enjoys watching her son’s hockey games, traveling, lake time with friends and spending time with her family, which include her 2 dogs, Ruby and Avery.
Nikki Kaasa joined our Firm in August 2016 as a law clerk. Nikki’s practice areas include: Drainage and Water, Civil Litigation, Business and Commercial Law, Real Estate Law, Debtor-Creditor Law, Probate, Family Law, and Municipal Law. She enjoys assisting the Firm’s attorneys with research and writing projects, and will be sitting for the February 2017 Minnesota Bar Exam.
Nikki grew up in St. Cloud, MN before attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she was a goaltender for the Varsity Women’s Hockey Team from 2008-2012. The Badgers won the D1 National Championship twice while Nikki was on the roster (2009 & 2011). Nikki then attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California before returning home to Minnesota to begin her legal career with Cline Jensen P.A. In her spare time, Nikki enjoys golfing, fishing, and reading. She is also an avid supporter of the Minnesota Wild and Wisconsin Badgers (On, Wisconsin!)
